About David...
David Russell Scott is a first time author with a deeply moving story of survival resilience, and unwavering faith. Born in Philadelphia, PA and raised in the Garfield Heights projects of Pittsburgh, PA, David grew up alongside his two brothers and devoted single mother. It was in this environment marked by struggle but sustained by love that he first learned the true meaning of perseverance, grit, and determination.
Growing up in Garfield Heights during the 1970's and 80's was a defining chapter in David's life. It was a time of challenges, yes but also a time of unbreakable bonds. He forged lifelong friendships with people he still calls family today. And to the elders in the community who help raise him, who provided the guidance he so desperately needed, David carries your love and spirit with him every step of the way. Your impact lives on in his journey.
In his powerful debut book "The Brain Aneurysm And The Touch Finding God During My Darkest Storm", David found light. His unwavering faith became his lifeline. Through honest, raw storytelling, he opens his heart to readers, offering not just a survivor's testimony, but a declaration of God's presence and mercy in the midst of unimaginable storms. His story is a beacon for anyone who has ever struggled to find hope in the face of adversity.
Outside of writing, David has spent decades building a successful career in the construction and real estate development. His passion lies in revitalizing communities and creating opportunities for others especially in neighborhoods like the one he grew up in.
At his core, David is a devoted husband, father, and family man. He treasures every moment spent with his love ones and views each day as a precious gift. Through his life, his work, and his words, he remains committed to encourage others, especially those walking through life's most difficult seasons.
Weather you in the midst of your own storm or searching for a reason to believe again, David's journey is a powerful reminder that you are never alone and that God walks with us even in our darkest hours.

"The Brain Aneurysm and The Touch is a book that gripped me from the very beginning. Written with honesty, vulnerability, and deep faith, this powerful testimony walks you through one man’s unimaginable health crisis and the miraculous ways God revealed Himself in the midst of it all. This story is more than just a survival journey it’s a spiritual awakening. He doesn’t hold back, and that’s what makes it so impactful. It reminded me that no matter how dark the storm gets, God is still there moving, healing, and showing up in ways we often can’t explain. If you’ve ever felt like life knocked the wind out of you, this book will speak to your soul. It’s raw, real, and rooted in faith. I’m beyond proud of him for sharing his testimony and letting the world see what it means to trust God completely."

"David Scott Your book was beyond informative and conceptual. Opening up about your personal life was truly tearful and heartfelt. I cannot imagine the strength you must have found within your soul to navigate such a challenging journey. I also want to pay homage to your beautiful wife and children for their unwavering support as you pursued your best health. While many things don't deeply move me, "The Brain Aneurysm And The Touch" has profoundly touched my soul and I believe it deserves to become a play on Broadway, ensuring the legacy of your story lives on.
